The purpose of the Steve Weiss Memorial Grant is to fund the PASIC booth fee for a vendor, providing them the opportunity to operate in the expo hall at the convention. Functioning as a business incubator, this initiative offers vendors exposure, networking opportunities, and a platform to grow their business within the percussion community.
This grant covers standard booth fees to PASIC, with additional funds available for costs including travel, lodging, meals, and shipping. While basic fees are covered, the vendor will remain responsible for any custom elements such as specialty lighting or overhead signage.
Preference will be given to percussion-related vendors who have never had a booth at PASIC or those who have been absent for a substantial amount of time. Organizations applying solely for member recruitment, such as universities or military groups, will not be considered.
